If you’ve been keeping up with the latest weight loss/health food trends, you know that detox drinks are all the rage. The purpose of detox drinks is to flush toxins from the body and to fill the body with fluids and healthy immunity boosting antioxidants and vitamins. But where can you get these awesome detox drinks?
You can make detox drinks at home yourself! All you need is water and some healthy fruits and veggies to put in it! Today, I’m sharing with you my favorite detox drink:
Here’s how to make it:
Ingredients: Water, Tazo Zen Green Tea (or any tea), 5 strawberries
Step 1. Make about 16 ounces of green tea. (Green tea is great for boosting your metabolism.) Leave green tea in the fridge for at least one hour to ensure that it is cool/cold.
Step 2. Wash and cut up around 5 strawberries. (Strawberries contain antioxodants and will aid in boosting your immuntiy!)
Step 3. Put the chopped strawberries into a glass of your green tea. Leave this into the fridge for around 2 to 3 hours, so the tea can absorb the strawberry flavor and juices.
Step 4. Enjoy your detox green tea with strawberries!
